If you are currently in the process of talking to business consultants to see who you want to work with, here are a few questions you might want to ask them:
- How many cases have you handled? Whether it's the consultant as an individual or the business consulting as a firm, you need to know how many cases they have successfully worked on.
- What tools do you use for measuring strategy effectiveness? Look for a firm that uses a broad range of strategies depending on the situation, including business analysis charts, interviews, reports, software, feedback, flowcharts, structure maps, business process models and more.
- Do you work well with difficult stakeholders?Analysts should demonstrate excellent people skills and soft skills, and should be adept at communicating with anyone – regardless of their opinions.
